One week from today...

...we will be living in our new home!!!! Closing day is set for Friday afternoon and we can start moving in Saturday morning! I can't believe how fast this process went...our dig date was Sept. 15 and almost 3 months to the date, it's done!

My kitchen!!! Yes, I think it's fair to call it mine because I spend 90% of my day here. :)

I'm in love! So far I'm really happy with all the choices we made here, especially the wood floors and tile/glass backsplash.

Here's the masterbath. I love the spa blue/green/grey color we choose...very calming. Also, digging the tall beadboard.

Another angle in the master bath. The cabinets are java (dark chocolate/black). I'm a little disappointed with the backsplash. The goal was to create a spa effect with small glass tiles in shades of blue, cream and clear. I think it turned out a little busy looking but maybe I just need to get used to it rather than the vision I had in my head.

Update: Never mind! Just went back today and the mirrors have been installed and lighting and I love it! The spots that look dark in the picture above are actually translucent and it's perfect.

Boy's bath...simple but I'll be adding color with towels, shower curtain and rugs.

Laundry Room...never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait to do laundry! 4 months of doing it at a laundry mat has made me appreciate the convenience of doing it at home. No more piles! (maybe)

A couple other pics that Brian just sent to me. He's at the house this morning putting in closets that we special ordered from this company. The front door just got put in and the carpet is also being installed!!!

Cleaners come on Thursday, we close on Friday, and moving day is set for Saturday!

We can't wait to move in!!!
