Go BLUE!

Saturday Brian and I went to the Michigan game. We had so much fun! Granted they played Delaware St. and won 55-6 (I guess the final score was worse, but that's what it was when we left)! It was a total blow out, but we enjoyed all the scoring and cheering and screaming that went along with it. It was also a perfect fall day...okay so it was really chilly, but after tailgating from 9-noon we were toasty warm. The best part was spending an entire day together WITHOUT children! I love my kids, but it's very rare that Brian and I get a whole day alone. Thank you Auntie JoJo for letting us crash at your house Friday night and for watching the kiddos all day Saturday! They had so much fun and have BOTH been napping this afternoon for over two hours! You must have really wore them out. Thank you!

We love the BIG HOUSE! (this pic also shows the new suites being added to the top tier on both sides. Soon this place will house over 120,000 fans!)

Here come the Wolverines!

Scored again!

October

I feel like I haven't posted anything in while, but nothing much has been happening except a lot of raining in Michigan and we've all been fighting off a wicked cold for over 2 weeks. We are all feeling much better and today the sun even peeked out for a bit during Sam's soccer game! Here's some pics of what we've been up to besides wiping up snot and disinfecting the house...
Sam continues to LOVE kindergarten. The boy who used to HATE to color suddenly can't get enough of crayons!

Last weekend Grandma Ellen from Tennessee and Aunt JoJo from Detroit came to visit. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative and Sam's soccer game got cancelled. So instead, we took them to Crane's Orchard to experience the awesome food and atmosphere. I think we passed our nasty colds onto them, but it was still good to spend time together!

Sam's class went to the Farmer's Market this week and I joined them as a helper. It was the perfect field trip...short and sweet, but COLD!

Sam his buddies Easton and Dominic.

The fun part about teaching at the same school that Sam attends is that I can pop into his classroom once in a while during my break to experience some of their fun activities. Here is Sam reading with his 5th grade Reading Buddy for the first time.

It was a classic fall day today at Sam's soccer game. Didn't get very many good action shots that weren't blurry, so here's the best of the bunch...

Carter and Grandpa Ron had fun playing peek-a-boo

Could this be the last tractor ride of the year? The rain finally stopped so Brian was anxious to mow the jungle. Sam, of course, had to help!
