Since I haven't posted anything in over a month, I'll attempt to update my blog with some Christmas pics. We had a wonderful holiday celebrating with friends and family.
The holiday festivities began the week before Christmas with the Kleinheksel party. As usual we played a couple of funny games, including one that I won by grabbing a cherry out of a bowl of whip cream. The only rule was that you couldn't use your hands. As you can see, everyone else attempted to dive in face first, but I used my toes...to win and save myself from a face full of whipcream! The Beckham's are now the proud receipients of the 1st ever Screaming Chicken trophy. I wonder who will win next the "big prize" next year? (hopefully NOT us!)

A couple of days before Christmas, mom and dad had a party for the Frego kids. Sam and Mya had a blast opening presents.
Here's Sam sittin' on Santa's lap. This was a big event for Sam and he was actually pretty shy about talking to Santa. When asked, "Have you been a good boy this year?" Sam immediately turned and looked at Brian and I. I think he was looking for reassurance that it was okay to say "yes", even if he might be telling a little white lie! When asked "What do want me to bring you for Christmas?" Sam's simple response was a toy train named "Rocky".
Wow! Not only did Santa bring Sam his toy train "Rocky", but he even brought a big Carnival Train set. It was all set up in the livingroom when we came downstairs in the morning. Sam was quite impressed that Santa had time to set up the train set and eat his milk and cookies. Sam was very thoughtful and even remembered to leave a glass of milk for Mrs. Claus and carrots for the reindeer. :)

Later on Christmas Day we went to mom and dad's house to celebrate with the Frego family. It was a great time! Grandma was able to escape from the nursing home for 4 hours to join us. It was different not having the party at Gma and Gpa Frego's house, but it worked out great and we all ate way too much and laughed a lot too. Mark and Patty and boys were there and Miss Mya was so cute in her pretty Christmas dress. The only downer was that we found out on Christmas Eve that Sam has impetigo (thus the yucky scab under his nose).

About a week after a Christmas we traveled down to Ohio to Brian's parents house to celebrate Christmas and New Years with Grandpa Sonny, Grandma Ellen, Aunt JoJo, Great Aunt Nancy, and Grandma Everett. Unfortunatly, my camera wasn't cooperating, so I tried to take pictures with the video camera, but they all turned out too dark. The above picture shows Sam with his 2 cousins Zach and Billy, whom he just loves and adores. They wrestled all afternoon and Sam was in his glory "hangin'" with the big boys. It was a great time and we all enjoyed spending time with the Beckham's. Again, we ate too much and mama's belly grew quite a bit over the holidays!
